We've been on a long Journey of helping automate and capture important information from meetings, and we have some exciting new features and updates to share with all our fans and followers. One of the new updates is the ability to easily drag and drop pre-recorded audio files into Fireflies and obtain transcriptions. This means that if you have recordings of your in-person meetings or calls, you can now have them transcribed Instantly. Inviting Fred to Calendar Events

We've listened to our users' feedback and brought back a requested feature – the ability to invite Fred at Fireflies to calendar events. This is particularly helpful for ad hoc meetings where you need Fireflies to join the call and capture the conversation. To invite Fred, make sure to include a dial-in number and Pin on the calendar invite, as Fireflies will use this information to join the call and Record and transcribe it.

Auto Join Meetings

To make things even more convenient, we've introduced the option for users to automatically join all their meetings. For those who want Fireflies to be present in every meeting without having to invite it manually, you can simply configure the settings to join all your meetings, team meetings, or customer-facing meetings. This ensures that Fireflies can identify and join the designated calendar events automatically.

Custom Preferences and Settings

We understand that every user has unique preferences and requirements when it comes to meeting transcripts. To give you more control, we're giving back custom preferences and settings. Now, you can decide who receives the meeting transcript and audio Recap after each meeting. This way, you no longer have to worry about sending the transcript to unintended recipients. You can also choose whether Fireflies should join all your calls, some of your calls, or if you prefer to manually invite Fred to specific meetings.

The Dashboard Feature

When you enable this filter in the smart search capabilities, Fireflies will suggest potential tasks, action items, or next steps discussed in the meeting.
