Using AI to Find a Niche for Etsy

In the previous video, we utilized AI and Chat GPT to narrow down our niche from a digital product to specifically traveling printables and traveling journals. This gives us a clear direction for our product line within the Travel and Adventure niche.

Choosing a Sub-Niche

Before delving into specific products, let's focus on creating our brand identity. We will ask Chat GPT for help in generating potential shop names that are catchy, original, and represent our niche. Based on its suggestions, we can then manually choose the best option. For instance, we may select "Wander Printables," a slightly general name that encompasses the variety of products we plan to offer. Alternatively, "Adventure Designs HQ" can serve as a backup option.

Part 2: Branding the Etsy Shop

Using AI to Create a Shop Name

To further assist us in the branding process, we'll ask Chat GPT about the elements that make up a good logo. While it may not directly create a logo for us, it can provide us with valuable insights. We'll use this information while designing our logo with the help of tools like Canva or other online logo makers. AI advises that our logo should be simple, incorporate travel-related imagery, have easy-to-Read fonts, and be original and distinctive.

Developing a Logo and Color Scheme

Following the criteria provided by AI, we will use Canva to create our logo and establish a color scheme that reflects our Travel and Adventure theme. The suggested color palette includes earthy tones and vibrant colors or their combinations. A modern Typeface or handwritten script is recommended, along with simple and versatile designs. Our logo should look good in both black and white formats, setting it apart from competitors and resonating with our target audience. Canva is an excellent tool for designing logos and offers both free and paid versions.
