Introduction
Good morning and welcome back to my Channel! I apologize for my absence recently, as I've been experiencing some issues with my phone. In this video, I will share a project I received from Crossfire and showcase some of their beautiful washi tapes. I will also demonstrate how I used the iris stamp and dies to Create a postcard and ATCs. So let's dive in and get started!
The Problem with the Phone
Lately, I've been facing some challenges due to the malfunctioning of my phone. Unfortunately, I lost a few videos, including some process videos for my tutorials. I'm determined not to buy a new phone, so I'll have to make do with what I have for now. Please bear with me during this time.
Dealing with Phone Issues
Since it's early in the morning and I don't want to disturb anyone, I've kept the lights low for this video. I hope the lighting is still acceptable. Now, let's move on to the main focus of this video – the project share from Crossfire.
Project Share from Crossfire
In this section, I'll be showcasing the items I received from Crossfire. I'll provide a quick Recap of the unboxing video linked in the description box below. The Package included some beautiful washi tapes with unique designs and a stamp set called "Iris" with accompanying dies.
Review of Washi Tapes
Let's take a closer look at the washi tapes I received from Crossfire. These tapes are not only visually appealing but also have a great quality. One of my favorites features tear Patterns and a script. Another tape showcases a Paris theme with postage stamp details. The variety of designs and the overall beauty of the washi tapes make them stand out.
Using the Iris Stamp and Dies
Moving on to the stamp set "Iris" and the matching dies, I decided to experiment with coloring the stamped images using my watercolor crayons. Although I don't have them with me at the moment, I thought it would be a great opportunity to revisit using crayons, especially since it had been a while.
Creating a Postcard or Journaling Piece
After coloring the iris images, I wanted to incorporate them into a project. I chose to make a postcard that can also be used as a piece for journaling. To enhance the overall design, I added the sentiment "Live this Life." The die from the stamp set provided a smooth cut, but to make the images Blend better with the washi tape, I trimmed around the edges.
Making ATCs with Washi Tapes
While working on the postcard, I had a sudden burst of creativity and ended up making artist trading cards (ATCs) as well. These mini-tags, featuring the same washi tape, can be used in journals or as decorative elements. I added holes to the tags for easy placement and personalization.
Exploring Different Themes
The versatility of the washi tape caught my Attention, as it encompasses various themes and phrases. It goes beyond typical spooky designs and includes messages like "Love beyond borders." This unique mix of sayings and newspaper-like articles adds a refreshing touch and provides plenty of creative possibilities.
Adding Embellishments to ATCs
To enhance the overall appearance of the ATCs, I decided to incorporate additional embellishments. I used a beautiful butterfly that I had previously shared in one of my haul videos. I splattered some white ink or paint to give the ATCs a creepy yet fancy look, perfect for Halloween or any eerie-themed projects.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I am thrilled with the outcome of these projects featuring the washi tapes and the iris stamp set from Crossfire.
