Friday Night Grocery Haul
Welcome back to my Channel! This week's grocery haul is a little different because it's Friday night and I have just returned from Aldi. It has been a long week, and tomorrow is our wedding anniversary, so we have a big weekend planned. I only picked up a few items from Aldi as We Are going out for a full day tomorrow. The rest of our shopping will be done on Monday, my day off from work.
Aldi Shopping
Let's start with the items I picked up from Aldi. I decided to grab some ice creams for a treat, including the limited edition mango flavor that I have heard great things about. I also got some cookie and ice cream sandwiches for my son Harry, who loves the Oreo ones. I couldn't find his favorite crumbly cones, so I opted for the caramelized biscuit choc sticks, which are amazing. Other items on my list included lean beef steak mince, mature cheddar cheese, and a box of strawberries.
In addition to these essentials, I indulged a bit and bought some treats like Arrow snow bubbles, caramel crunch bars, and chocolate crunchy clusters. I also picked up croissants, peanut butter, Belgian white chocolate and raspberry cookies, baby bells, wonky blueberries (that don't actually look wonky at all), and some Teddy Faces for the kids. Lastly, I grabbed two bottles of wine and a box of Carlsberg pilsner.
Tesco Click and Collect
This morning, I decided to try something new and did a Tesco Click and Collect order. The process went smoothly, with only one substitution (toilet Roll). I saved both time and money by utilizing this service. Now, let's see what I got from Tesco.
Fresh Produce
I started by stocking up on fresh produce. I picked up some red seedless grapes, super sweet British raspberries, and blueberries for my breakfasts. I also got some British carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumber, and red onions for our meals.
Snacks and Treats
For quick and easy meals, I bought frozen diced chorizo, chicken dippers, and a garlic baguette. In addition, I couldn't resist getting Cathedral City mature cheddar, barbecue beef Hula Hoops, and pot noodles for my husband's lunches. I also treated myself to some Morello cherry lemonade and beef and tomato Pot Noodles.
Meat and Dairy
On the menu this week, we have salmon with vegetables and new potatoes, and Thai sweet chili Ben's Original rice. I grabbed chicken breast fillets, sweet chili hot smoked salmon fillets, and chicken dippers for the kids. To accompany our meals, I got some tortilla wraps, wholemeal toasty loaves, and microwave rice.
Breakfast and Cereal
To restock our cereal supply, I bought multi-grain hoops and malt wheats. I also picked up some whole grain and Thai sweet chili Ben's Original rice to mix in for healthier options.
Alcohol and Beverages
Lastly, I grabbed a few drinks. I got some Coke Zero as they were out of my favorite Pepsi Max, as well as some Colgate toothpaste. For dairy, I purchased kitchen towel, toilet roll, and two four-pint bottles of milk.
That concludes my Tesco Click and Collect haul. I hope You enjoyed watching, and I will see you again soon!
