ChatSpot Update {#chatspot-update}

In this week's ChatSpot update, we're going to demo more prompts than we've ever shown in a single video before. Welcome to the ChatSpot Weekly Number 16. Going on four months now of weekly product updates. This week I wanna start in the template library. The template library is now sorted alphabetically. We're still going to keep new templates surfaced at the top. That new tag will expire in two weeks after the template is originally created. But beneath that, you'll see things are sorted alphabetically. That should make things easier to find in the prompt library.

Template Library {#template-library}

Today, I wanna spend all of our time in reporting. As you can see, we've added a whole bunch of new reporting prompts, and I wanna start with deals. I'm gonna find some deals with missing data. To do that, we're gonna find objects without a value. We're gonna use this template, and we're gonna start with deals that are missing a deal stage.

ChatSpot will find me deals missing a deal stage very quickly. Here is a single deal without a deal stage set. Now, I'll just copy this message here, and show you some more of the flexibility. Let's find deals that do not have an amount set. ChatSpot's going to find us a single deal. As you can see, there's no amount set. I can go into HubSpot immediately and update that deal. One more Prompt I wanna show off for deals. We're gonna jump back to our template library here, and find deals that have been added this month, sorted by amount. So, we're gonna go recently created objects. We're gonna find deals added this month, sorted by amount. As you can see, I have two deals added this month, and the amount is 5,000 and 50,000 respectively.

Reporting in ChatSpot {#reporting-in-chatspot}

Now let's jump to tickets a little bit. Ticket reporting can be really valuable. The first thing I wanna do is find tickets compared to last week. So the first thing here is let's find this weekly ticket volume comparison. Compare tickets added this week to last week. So you can see I have four this week and one last week. So ticket volume's up, but let's use the same prompt and ask it where owner is Dylan Selberg. And what it'll do is identify tickets that are owned only by me created last week. And as you can see, I have three created this week, and one created last week. So there's one ticket in the CRM that is not owned by Dylan Selberg created this week. I can verify that that is the true state of our CRM. To do that, I'm going to look for tickets owned by Teddy Burns, a teammate in our CRM here. And you'll see there's one ticket owned by Teddy Burns, and we're just gonna view that in HubSpot. As you can see, the create date is this week. So there's your missing ticket. You can use these ticket prompts really flexibly to understand your support volume, your ticket volume, and see how your customer inflows are.

Deals {#deals}

Moving forward from tickets, I wanna show some new reporting prompts that help you analyze the performance of your website and your marketing efforts. So we're gonna hop back into templates, go over to reporting, and again, we're gonna look at this new prompt of web traffic analysis. Now I wanna find the busiest day from our website this month, and what ChatSpot's going to do is return a table. My website visits broken down by day, and you can see their busiest day, we have a 3,000, a 4,000 visits on August 16th, that correlates with our last weekly video update. No surprise there. We do hope to improve the formatting of this table really soon. Just wanted to let you all in early on the functionality. This busiest day prompt is flexible. You can use any time period. So let's just say busiest day this week. The report will then show a much shorter timetable, as you can see, based on the current week it is. Now, all these new templates are really flexible. So everything in the reporting library should be interchangeable using object types, different timeframes, different owners, different property values, and things like that. However, reporting is quite the challenge. There's a lot of different data structures in CRMs. A lot of different ways that folks communicate with ChatSpot to get that data out.

Tickets {#tickets}

I'll close today's video with a quick call out to highlight two pretty subtle interactions within ChatSpot. And those are the smiling reactions beneath the message. So anytime ChatSpot sends you a response, you can either give us a smiley face, that this response is what you expected, or a frown, this response was not what you expected. This is a really effective way for you all as beta users trying ChatSpot, getting used to it and implementing it in your company, to send us feedback directly. We look through these sad faces and smiley faces, and identify areas where we need improvement. Before I close, I do just wanna call out that next week is the final ChatSpot update before Inbound 2023. We're gonna do something fun next week, with a summary of all the changes we've seen during our Alpha. I'm really excited for that, and we look forward to seeing you then.
