Introduction
Hey guys, welcome back to another video on the Channel. Today, let's dive into the Solos Cache Cup, the latest Fortnite tournament. In this article, we'll discuss my performance, the map changes, and the new points of interest (POIs) introduced in the game. So let's get started!
Week 1: 43 Points
In the first week of the Solos Cache Cup, I played twelve matches and managed to score 43 points. It was a great start, and I felt confident about my gameplay.
Week 2: 5 Points
However, in the Second week, things didn't go as planned. I played a total of five matches and could only score five points. It was a disappointing performance compared to the previous week.
Week 3: 24 Points
Undeterred by the previous week's setback, I decided to try a different strategy in the third week. I played all fifteen matches and secured 24 points. While it was an improvement from the second week, I still felt the need to be more aggressive.
Week 4: 32 Points
Continuing with my new approach, I played fourteen out of fifteen matches in the fourth and final week of the tournament. I managed to score 32 points, showing consistent progress. Although not as high as my first-week performance, it was a significant improvement from the second week.
Comparison of Average Points Per Game
If we calculate the average points per game, the fourth week's performance stands at 2.5 points per game. While it is better than the second week's average of 1.6 points per game, it falls short of the impressive 3.5 points per game in the first week.
Ranking Percentage in Each Week
Analyzing the ranking percentage, we can Notice a pattern. In the first week, with 43 points, I ranked in the top 10%. However, in the second week, 24 points secured a place in the top 24%. Surprisingly, in the third week, 32 points placed me in the top 11%. It seems that overall, people performed worse in the tournament's later weeks.
Map Changes in Solos Cache Cup
Usually, I cover the map changes in the Tuesday video when the update is released. However, this time there were no updates on Tuesday, so the map remains unchanged. Nevertheless, there have been some notable changes throughout the tournament.
Moisty Palms: A New POI
A new point of interest called Moisty Palms has been added to the game. It is a Fusion of Moisty Mire, Paradise Palms, and some elements of the desert biome. When players crouch in Moisty Palms, they can transform into props, similar to another popular game.
Prison and Edge of Paradise
Although many players were expecting changes in the prison area, it remains the same as before. The edge of Paradise is also untouched. However, the small houses around it have now become part of the marshy swamp area, adding an interesting twist.
Greasy Grove's Transformation
One of the significant changes in this tournament is Greasy Grove. The original Greasy Grove has been replaced by a taco shop. The surrounding area is also covered in snow, unlike the previous version. The new taco shop layout is similar to the old Der Burger shop.
Conclusion
To conclude, my performance in the Solos Cache Cup had its ups and downs. While I showed improvement in subsequent weeks, it wasn't enough to match my exceptional performance in the first week. The map changes brought new elements to the game, especially with the introduction of Moisty Palms and the transformation of Greasy Grove. Overall, it was an exciting and challenging tournament. I look forward to upcoming Fortnite events and the potential for further map modifications.
