Step 1: Normal Settings

The first step is to try the normal settings that you can use to increase the resolution of your image. Go to Image > Image Size and increase the resolution to 300 and the width value to 3000. Preview the image in the preview box, and you will see the before and after. However, you will not get the desired result that you are looking for with this method.

Step 2: Hidden Trick

The Second step is to use the hidden trick to convert the low-resolution image into a high-resolution image. Go to Edit > Preferences > Technology Preview and enable the Preserve Details 2.0 Upscale. Then, go to Image > Image Size and resize the image by taking the resolution to 300 and the width to 3000 pixels. Preview the image in the box, and you will see the difference. Change the resampling to Preserve Details 2.0, and you will get the perfect image that you are looking for. You can also reduce the noise a little bit and adjust the amount that is perfect for your image.

Step 3: Sharpen and Smooth

The third step is to apply some simple steps to finish the editing. Go to Filter > Sharpen and adjust the Sharpen Mask to give sharpening to the model. Then, press Ctrl or Command + J to make a duplicate layer and go to Filter > Blur > Surface Blur. Adjust the smoothness of the model skin.

Step 4: Apply High Pass

The fourth and final step is to apply the High Pass to the model. Make a duplicate layer and go to Filter > High Pass. Take a perfect amount that will show only the edges of the image. Change the blending mode to Overlay, and you can also try out with Soft Light. Apply the High Pass only to the certain area of the image by pressing Alt or Options and then applying a negative mask to the layer. Take the brush tool, make sure the foreground color is white, and apply the effect to the area you like.
