Selling AI Prompts: A Lucrative Opportunity 🎨💰

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionized the world of creativity, allowing us to explore new boundaries in art. Did you know that you can earn thousands of dollars per month by selling AI prompts? No, not the artwork itself, but the instructions for creating it!

Selling AI prompts can be a relatively easy and profitable gig. With the rise of AI Tools like Midjourney, Chat GPT, Stable Diffusion, and more, we have researched and tested the best quick marketplaces to buy and sell prompts.

The Benefits of Selling AI Prompts

Easy and Profitable AI Artwork 💡💸

AI tools like Midjourney, Leonardo, Dall-E, and Stable Diffusion have the ability to create impressive art. However, they are not always perfect at bringing your vision to life. That's where prompts come in. Mastering prompts is the best way to Align your human-generated vision with AI-generated artwork.

Quick Marketplaces for Buying and Selling 💼🏪

Fast marketplaces act as organized libraries, making it easy to find any kind of prompt imaginable. Whether you're a buyer looking to create logos, mockups, or stickers, or a seller seeking to earn passive income from your creative skills, AI markets like Promptbase are tailored to your needs.

Promptbase, discovered by many at the end of 2022 after the introduction of Midjourney, boasts one of the largest databases with hundreds of thousands of requests for various AI tools, including Dall-E, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and Chat GPT. If you're searching for something specific, chances are you'll find it here.

Promptbase: A Detailed Overview

Promptbase offers a vast array of prompts, which might seem overwhelming at first glance. However, the platform allows you to sort prompts by category, no only filtering for the AI platform you use but also narrowing your search to art and illustrations, Photography, writing, productivity, or even marketing-specific prompts.

One of the aspects I particularly appreciate about this platform is that their prompts come from some of the best-selling AI engineers in the business. This ensures that you are purchasing high-quality, repeatable prompts.

For instance, I purchased a product photography prompt and created a stunning image that looks straight out of a polished water advertisement. The best part? Most listed prompts currently range between $2 and $10, so you don't have to break the bank to make a purchase. It's an affordable price to save hours of trial and error.

If you can't find exactly what you're looking for, Promptbase also offers an option to hire a quick engineer. While it is a bit pricier, with top engineers charging up to $150 per prompt, you're more likely to get precisely what you need.

As a seller, Promptbase encourages you to submit multiple photos to ensure easy replication. You can't just create one image and call it a day. However, once you start making a few sales, Promptbase allows you to raise your prices for customized posts after reaching 25 sales. It's the best way to maximize your earnings per prompt, but keep in mind that it requires more practical work and is less of a passive income strategy.

Promptbase takes a standard 20% cut from all sales, which is reasonable considering the exposure their platform provides. In fact, considering the top-level prompts that earn sellers thousands of dollars, Promptbase could likely increase their cut. However, one downside is that listing your requests can be challenging since the platform analyzes each one and compares it to their existing database. If your requests are too similar to what's already there, they may not approve your listing. Another thing to note is that Promptbase utilizes Stripe for payments, so depending on your location, you may not be able to sell on the platform.

For those interested in exploring Promptbase, we have provided a link in the description. If you have previously used Promptbase, we would love to hear about your experience in the comments.

Don't worry if we've only scratched the surface today. If you want to learn more about buying and selling on Promptbase, be sure to check out our full Tutorial linked in the description. Now, let's move on to Prompt Attack, another marketplace for buying and selling prompts.

Prompt Attack: A Comparison

Prompt Attack is quite similar to Promptbase as it allows you to buy and sell prompts. However, there are a few important differences worth noting. It can be a good starting point for new AI prompt sellers as it is a smaller platform with less competition. This means, for now, you don't have to worry about competing against top-level engineers.

To be honest, I wouldn't personally recommend buying or selling on this platform. Firstly, Prompt Attack takes a 30% cut from all sales, compared to Promptbase's 20%. Secondly, the chances of getting noticed are not very high. The top seller prompts seem to have hardly any sales, and Prompt Attack's blog hasn't been updated in months, which makes me wonder if the platform itself is actively invested.

However, if you already have a prompt that you're selling on Promptbase, it wouldn't hurt to list it on Prompt Attack as well. With less competition, you may have a chance to stand out.

For those interested in trying Prompt Attack, we have included a link in the description. And if you're new to creating AI art and want some tips and tricks to get started, be sure to check out our Midjourney tutorial, so you can learn how to create art and earn your own prompts. AI Frog: Pros and Cons

AI Frog is a brand new marketplace. When we looked into the earnings of top requests, we were shocked to find that it had only received 19 views and no sales yet. So, unfortunately, you won't be making tons of money listing props on AI Frog, or possibly any money at all.

Another drawback is that their sales reduction is larger than Promptbase, at 25%. So you're telling me I should give you more money to sell on a lower-tier platform? No, thank you! However, we'll provide a link in the description in case you want to give it a try.

For now, AI Frog has a lot of work to do if it wishes to catch up, or should I say hop, into the Game. With all these factors considered, I believe Promptbase is the best AI prompt marketplace to buy and sell the highest quality and most profitable prompts, at least for now. Promptbase is growing every day and may be overtaken if platforms like Midjourney and ChatGPT launch their own marketplaces. But as of now, Promptbase holds almost complete control of the market.

Of Course, we'll keep an eye out for the latest and greatest in AI art. So sign in and stay tuned. Speaking of the latest, we've seen a lot of content popping up everywhere on YouTube and Twitter about the latest AI platform, Leonardo. Promptbase has recently listed Leonardo products on their platform, and luckily, we'll be releasing Leonardo tutorials soon so you can be one of the first to buy or list them. Make sure to leave a like and subscribe if you don't want to miss out.
