Shout Outs and Sticker Swap

First, we want to give a shout out to Charlie's van life UK. Charlie has a fantastic Channel that showcases some beautiful spots. If You're interested in park options, make sure to check out Charlie's van life UK.

Next, we received a sticker from Sand Van, a great channel from Australia. We appreciate their support, and if you haven't already, go and check out their content.

Review of Recent Travels

3.1 Children Lock

One of the places we visited during our 10-day trip was Children Lock. It is a lovely place with a great walk around the lock. We definitely plan on going back in the future.

3.2 Campster Cairns

We also stopped by Campster Cairns, which had adequate parking but was primarily an extended passing place. Despite that, we enjoyed exploring the Cairns.

3.3 Campster Forest

Moving on, we visited Campster Forest. Despite its name, there were barely any trees left. However, Lindsay managed to capture some stunning pictures of damsel flies.

3.4 Libster Harbor

Libster Harbor was another great spot we explored. We watched the fishermen in their boats and observed the birds in the harbor. It was a peaceful experience.

3.5 Lather and Wheel Harbor

Next on our list was Lather and Wheel Harbor. We had some fun experiences here, including a motorhome that kept moving closer to us. Fortunately, the people we had met in Libster arrived there the next day.

3.6 Dumby Harbor

At Dumby Harbor, we met Jesse and had a chat with the people in the Blue day band. It was a pleasant stop during our Journey.

3.7 Braymore Bay

We planned to stop at Braymore Bay, famous for the telephone at the end of the world. However, Lindsay didn't feel comfortable there, so we moved on.

3.8 Bad Bay

Similarly, at Bad Bay, we decided not to stay due to it being problematic parking. We managed to find a spot a few miles outside of Helmsdale.

3.9 Helmsdale

Helmsdale was our next destination, but it turned out to be quite crowded due to the Highland Games. We decided not to stop there and moved to Killfadir instead.

3.10 Killfadir

At Killfadir, we enjoyed the beautiful spot and stayed for a couple of nights. We Are still trying to identify something captured on the camera during our stay there.

3.11 Oldie Burn

After moving south from Helmsdale, we stayed one night at Oldie Burn. Due to the rainy weather, we decided to find a better spot Based on recommendations.

3.12 Fire-ish Monument

We ended up at Fire-ish Monument, a fantastic park-up with plenty of room. Lindsay explored the monument, and we had a great experience overall. We definitely plan on going back in the future.

3.13 Clocaenog Forest

Finally, we made a stop at Clocaenog Forest, which had turned into quite a muddy area due to the rain. We only stayed one night but had a special visit from Sam, Riley, and Craig, who brought presents for Lindsay's birthday.

Highlights

Throughout our 10-day journey, we experienced many Memorable moments. Some highlights include the beautiful walk at Children Lock, the stunning pictures of damsel flies at Campster Forest, and the peaceful exploration of Libster Harbor. We also enjoyed the excitement at Dumby Harbor and the poignant experience at Braymore Bay.
