Introduction

Welcome back to another video! In today's episode, we will be setting up the weekly layout in my A6 Astrology planner. The aim is to Create an organized and visually appealing layout for the upcoming week. Using sticker books and washi tapes, we will decorate the pages to make planning a fun and creative experience. Follow along as we dive into the process of creating a functional and aesthetically pleasing planner layout.

1. Setting up the Weekly Layout in the A6 Astrology Planner

To start, I removed the Midori clear cover from my A6 Astrology planner. The cover was a bit too tight and was preventing the book from closing properly. I'm currently contemplating on how to decorate the cover to make it more visually pleasing. However, in this video, we will focus solely on the Contents of the planner pages.

2. Choosing a Cover Design

Since the black cover of my planner looked plain and unexciting, I decided to explore different options to spruce it up. I have a variety of sticker books and washi tapes at my disposal, and for this week, I wanted to create a layout with bright and vibrant colors. After much consideration, I opted for the pastel Tropic sticker book by the Happy Planner, which features animal prints in lively pastel shades with silver foiling. I thought it would be a great fit for the start of summer.

3. Using Sticker Books and Washi Tapes

Alongside the pastel Tropic sticker book, I also gathered a selection of washi tapes from my collection. Some of the washi tapes were purchased from Shine Sticker Studio, while others were random finds from various outlets. I have a mix of zebra prints, leopard prints, and brightly colored solids. Though not all the washi tapes met my expectations in terms of quality and quantity, I decided to make the most of what I had and experiment with different combinations.

4. Layout for the Week of June 5th-11th

The completed layout is designed for the week of June 5th to June 11th. To create a Cohesive and visually pleasing layout, I started with the weekly dashboard, which includes a to-do list for the Current week and reminders for the following week. The dashboard provides a quick overview of the tasks at HAND and helps set the tone for the week ahead.

5. Flip Through of Last Week's Layout

Before diving into the current week's setup, I took a moment to do a quick flip through of last week's layout. As I hadn't written any plans, it was more of a decorative setup rather than a planning session. The A6 Astrology planner proved to be enjoyable to use, providing ample space for my to-do lists and plans. Its smaller size, in comparison to the B6, proved to be more fitting to my preferences.

6. Apologies for Sound and Lighting Issues

In my previous video, I noticed some issues with sound quality and lighting. I apologize for any inconvenience caused and assure You that I am working towards enhancing the overall video experience. I have relocated my filming setup and am investing time into improving sound quality and lighting conditions. I am also considering upgrading my camera to further enhance video quality.

7. Trying Something New with Planning Style

For this week's layout, I decided to implement a new planning style. I tore the washi tape at the top and bottom, creating a more casual and laid-back aesthetic. This style may appear messy to some, but it allows me to have a more carefree and fun approach to planning. The goal is to break away from the traditional structured GRID layout and embrace creativity and spontaneity.

8. Personal Update and Reflections

As we Delve into the planning process, I want to take a moment to update you on my personal life. Being an entry-level tax accountant, I must admit that I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the expectations placed upon me. Graduating just last year, this is my first actual job as an accountant. There is still much for me to learn, and I find myself constantly navigating uncharted territory. Balancing work projects and deadlines can be challenging, but I am determined to grow and develop my skills in this field.

9. Conclusion

In conclusion, setting up the weekly layout in my A6 Astrology planner has been an exciting and creative endeavor. By utilizing sticker books and washi tapes, we have crafted a vibrant and functional layout for the upcoming week. Though planning styles may differ, the goal remains the same - to stay organized and make the planning process enjoyable. Stay tuned for future updates and videos as we explore new planning techniques and share our experiences. Thank you for joining me on this planner Journey!
