Introduction

Welcome to my Channel! Today, I am thrilled to have my friend, Rebecca, here with me. We Are going to be making edible slime using different types of candies. I have received numerous requests from You guys to make edible slime, so I thought it would be a fun experience for Rebecca to try it out with me. In this article, we will be exploring three different recipes using Sour Patch Kids, Gummy Bears, and Starbursts. Each recipe will be evaluated to determine if it's a winner or a fail. So let's get started and see which one is the best!

Making Edible Slime with Sour Patch Kids

To start off, we decided to make edible slime using Sour Patch Kids. This is the easiest recipe, as it only requires one ingredient - Sour Patch Kids candy. All we have to do is heat the candy in the microwave, stirring at 30-Second intervals until it melts. Once melted, we transfer the mixture onto a baking mat and let it cool. The slime should stick together due to the sugar in the candy. After following the recipe, we compared our slimes and let our viewers decide which one turned out better.

Making Edible Slime with Gummy Bears

Next, we moved on to making edible slime using Gummy Bears. This recipe calls for Gummy Bears, cornstarch, and powdered sugar. Similar to the previous recipe, we first melted the Gummy Bears in the microwave. Once melted, we added cornstarch and powdered sugar to the mixture and kneaded it together on a greased baking mat. This time, we didn't have to worry about sticking as the powdered sugar acted as a non-stick surface. The final result was a stretchy and slime-like texture.

Making Edible Slime with Starbursts

For our final recipe, we used Starbursts to make edible slime. We melted the Starbursts in the microwave and then mixed in cornstarch and powdered sugar. The significant difference with this recipe was that we didn't have to grease the surface since the powdered sugar prevented sticking. The outcome was a firm yet pliable slime that resembled a giant Starburst candy.

Conclusion

In conclusion, we had a fun and messy experience making edible slime using different types of candies. Each recipe had its own unique texture and taste. While the Sour Patch Kids slime was gooey and sticky, the Gummy Bear slime was stretchy and soft. The Starburst slime turned out firm and moldable. It's hard to pick a favorite as they all had their own Charm. We leave it up to you to decide which recipe you prefer and if these edible slimes were a win or a fail.
