Despite the rain following us, we head to the boat harbor to begin our fishing adventure.

The rain doesn't dampen our spirits as we cast our lines into the Water. Despite the Adrenaline rush, the hike back to the truck reminds us of the beauties and challenges of the wilderness.

Soldotna, another town on the Kenai Peninsula, is our next destination. We take a pit stop to rest and chat with local fishermen who have had success in their morning catch. The camaraderie among fellow anglers is undeniable, and we eagerly anticipate our turn to fish. The Kenai River offers an exceptional fishing experience, and we are eager to cast our lines and try our luck.

Our adventure takes a slight detour as we venture to Ninilchik for some dip netting. Armed with our nets, we wade into the water to catch the running salmon.
