They have also been able to collect a hundred percent of their claims. Sandy and her team have worked hard to ensure that outstanding receivables are kept to a minimum. The only problem they have encountered is with one outstanding receivable, but they are confident that they will be able to collect the money soon.

GG, the medical records manager, reports that they had zero deficiencies in their annual survey and that they were able to upload all of their medical records from a paper system to Point Click Care. GG and her team were able to do this in just six months, and they have been able to maintain their Chart audits with the help of their amazing assistant, Tori.
In 2017, GG and her team hope to duplicate their success with another zero-deficiency survey for medical records. They also hope to stay up to date with their chart audits.
Activities Department Achievements in 2016
The activities department at KI South Bay Health Care Center has been busy providing residents with a variety of culturally centered activities. Michelle, the activities director, reports that they have had several great events throughout the year, including a birthday celebration for residents, a fall festival, and a Japanese drum group performance.
