Now, let's get started with creating this amazing animated PowerPoint slide design.
Creating the Color Palette
The first step in creating our animated slide design is to choose a color palette. We want our slides to have a Cohesive and visually appealing look, so selecting the right colors is essential. You can use websites like Coolers or Colors to find beautiful color palettes that work well together.
Once you have chosen your color palette, you can Apply it to your slides. Start by selecting the slide you want to change the background color of. Right-click on the slide and choose "Format Background." In the color options, select "Solid" and then choose the color from your palette using the eyedropper tool. Repeat this process for each slide, using a different color from your palette for each one.
Adding Icon Bubbles
Now that we have our slides with the desired background colors, it's time to add the icon bubbles. These bubbles will serve as buttons that users can click on to navigate through the presentation. We will need to find five icons that represent different topics or sections of our presentation.
To find icons, you can use websites like Flat Icon or, if you have PowerPoint Office 365, you can use the built-in icon library. Once you have chosen your icons, insert them onto the slides by clicking on the "Insert" tab and selecting the "Icon" option. Choose an icon and place it inside a circle Shape.
To create the Bubble effect, we will need to duplicate the circle shape for each icon and arrange them in a vertical line. To ensure even spacing between the bubbles, hold down the Shift key and select all of the circles. Then, use PowerPoint's alignment tools to distribute them evenly.
Creating the Cut-Out Effect
To make our slide design more visually interesting, we can add a cut-out effect. This effect will create a window-like shape that reveals part of the background color through the bubbles. Start by selecting a rectangle shape and placing it behind the bubbles. Adjust the size and position of the rectangle so that it covers the bubbles.
Next, we will use a triangle shape to create the cut-out effect. Insert a triangle shape and position it so that it overlaps with the rectangle. Adjust the size and rotation of the triangle to achieve the desired cut-out shape. Use the Merge Shapes tool in the Shape Format tab to subtract the triangle shape from the rectangle shape, creating the cut-out effect.
Inserting Links to the Icons
To make the icons interactive, we can add hyperlinks that allow users to click on them and jump to different slides. Select each icon individually and go to the "Insert" tab. Choose the "Link" option and select "Slides in this Presentation." Then, choose the slide you want the icon to link to. Repeat this process for each icon, ensuring that each one links to the correct slide.
Testing the Presentation
Once all the components are in place, it's time to test our presentation. Play the slideshow and use the arrow keys or click on the icons to navigate through the slides. Make sure that the hyperlinks are working correctly and that the animations and transitions are smooth. This is also a good time to make any final adjustments to the design or layout if needed.
Conclusion
