Introduction

Welcome to the LPSP update video! In this video, we will be showcasing the latest features and improvements that we have made to the LPSP asset. LPSP is a popular game asset that allows game developers to Create their own first-person shooter games quickly and easily. In this update, we have added several new features that will make it even easier for developers to create their own unique games.

Loadout Menu

One of the new features that we have added is a loadout menu. This menu allows players to select the weapon that they want to spawn with. Players can choose from all the available weapons in the asset and spawn with it. This feature is a significant step towards proper spawning, but there is still a ways to go. Additionally, there is a delay before spawning in case players do not want to allow immediate respawning.

Health Bar

Another new addition to the LPSP asset is the player's health bar. This feature is a significant improvement to the game's UI and adds an extra layer of immersion to the game. The health bar is fully functional and will decrease as the player takes damage.

Hit Markers

We have also added hit markers to the asset. Hit markers Show up every time the player hits something marked as destructible. Both the image and sound of the hit markers can be modified, and they are highly customizable. Additionally, hit markers can be blocked from showing up for specific actors.

Tactical Sprinting

Tactical sprinting animations have been added for every single weapon in the asset. Every time the player presses the running key, they will start tactical sprinting and then switch to normal running once a specific amount of time has passed. There is a variable for this, and we have added an option to use toggle sprint instead of hold sprint. Toggle sprint is enabled by default for this update.

AI Spawner

One of the most exciting features that we have added to the LPSP asset is a brand new AI spawner. With this spawner, developers can spawn AI characters in their games. The AI in the asset moves between points in the level marked as points of interest. It uses the environment query system to find the points of interest that it likes most and just goes to them. By default, the AI agents have quite a few behaviors that allow them to track the player and kill them.

Crosshair

We have made the crosshair turn red when pointing at an enemy or destructible object. This is a small but welcome change that makes it easier for players to aim at their targets.

Points of Interest

Developers can see all the points of interest in the level. Once the AI is shot, things are a little bit different. The AI agents have quite a few behaviors that allow them to track the player and kill them. They are rather good at that.

AI Behaviors

The AI agents have several behaviors that allow them to track the player and kill them. They are rather good at that. Developers can customize the AI agents' behaviors to make them more or less aggressive, depending on their game's needs.

Conclusion

In conclusion, we have made some significant improvements to the LPSP asset in this update. We have added several new features that will make it even easier for developers to create their own unique games. We would love to hear your feedback on what you have seen so far.
