Introduction

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another video by Oliur. In this video, I'll be giving You an updated tour of my creative Studio setup. I recently did a desk setup tour, but today, I want to dive deeper into the entire space, how everything is set up, and why I have it arranged this way. So, let's get started!

Location and Setup

My creative studio is located in a warehouse. I rented the warehouse and transformed a section of it into a purpose-built studio. The room itself is a long, split space where I shoot photos, videos, and handle all my business-related work. To enhance the acoustics, I have carpet tiles on the floor and suspended Ceiling panels that are designed to absorb sound. These panels have made a significant difference in eliminating echo and creating a high-quality sound environment.

Soundproofing and Acoustics

Creating a space with excellent sound quality was crucial to me. Instead of using curtains or additional soundproofing materials, I focused on strategically placing the microphone close to me and improving the acoustic properties of the studio. The sound-absorbing ceiling panels I installed have been incredibly effective in deadening the echo and improving the audio quality. With these panels, I can achieve professional-level sound without the need for extensive soundproofing measures.

Workspace Desk Setup

In the workspace area of my studio, I have my main desk setup. It's the largest desk because I prefer having ample space to work and be creative. My desk is a standing desk, which allows me to switch between sitting and standing positions throughout the day. The centerpiece of my setup is the Pro Display XDR connected to a MacBook Pro 14 inch. I also have a Herman Miller Aeron chair for ergonomic support and comfort during long work hours. I have a sideboard next to my main desk, which holds a few additional items such as assistant speakers, a TV, and a Dyson fan.

Sideboard and Additional Equipment

The sideboard serves as a storage and display area for items I frequently use. It houses some assistant speakers, a TV, and a Dyson fan. The TV not only allows me to watch videos but also serves as a security camera display for monitoring the surroundings of the warehouse. Additionally, I have some prints on the walls – photographs I've taken over the years that I particularly like. One item I plan to install on the wall is the Samsung Frame TV, which I haven't gotten around to doing yet.

Shelving and Artwork

On one side of the studio, I have a large shelving unit from Tylko. This unit provides both storage and aesthetic appeal. It contrasts with the overall moodiness of the studio with its black finish and adds some golden accents to the setup. The shelves also act as a display area for my YouTube plaque and various artworks. Additionally, I have an IKEA pegboard, which has become popular among content Creators. It provides a convenient way to organize and access frequently used items.

Lighting Setup

Creating the right lighting setup is crucial for video production, and I've focused on achieving a versatile and customizable lighting arrangement. I have a key light, a softbox with a GRID, which helps direct the light and Create a focused illumination on me during recordings. The key light is from Godox, and it's complemented by accent lights that provide additional lighting around me and an overhead hairlight for highlighting my hair. With this three-light setup, I can achieve a look that adds depth and visual interest to my videos.

Trolleys for Equipment

To ensure flexibility and ease of use, I rely on trolleys for organizing and moving equipment around the studio. I have an IKEA trolley that holds my quick-access items, such as knives, remotes, and notebooks. This trolley allows me to keep essential items easily accessible during recordings. Additionally, I have two other trolleys – one for A-roll video shooting and the other for B-roll video shooting. Both trolleys are equipped with the necessary equipment, including monitors, cameras, lenses, and power strips.

Flexibility and Mobility

The beauty of my creative studio lies in its flexibility and mobility. Everything in the space, apart from the shelving unit, is designed to be easily moved or rearranged to suit different shooting requirements. This flexibility allows me to experiment with various setups and quickly adapt to different shooting scenarios. Whether I need to capture a talking head video, a top-down shot, or any other Type of video or photo, my studio setup ensures I can efficiently accomplish my creative vision.

Conclusion

In conclusion, my creative studio setup provides me with the ideal environment for producing high-quality videos and photos. The carefully designed acoustics, versatile workspace desk setup, strategically placed equipment trolleys, and customizable lighting arrangement all contribute to creating a space that enables my creativity and enhances the overall production quality. With the flexibility and mobility of the setup, I can adapt to different shooting scenarios and bring my creative vision to life. I hope you enjoyed this tour of my studio, and I invite you to check out my other content for more tips and inspiration. Keep creating!
