Edie use is a forward-minded software and technology services company. It offers a range of videos, services, and solutions to help clients implement business strategies, improve performance, increase efficiency, and effectively deliver changes. Creating an Account
To access the Edie app, users need to Create an account by clicking on the "Sign Up" option in the login screen. Required details for account creation include first name, last name, mobile number, email address, gender, password, and confirm password. Upon completing the mandatory information, users can click on the "Sign Up" button. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the provided mobile number for verification.
Login and Dashboard
Once the OTP is verified, users will be redirected to the login screen. Here, they need to enter their mobile number and password to log into the app. Upon successful authentication, users will be directed to the dashboard screen. The dashboard displays the information provided during the signup process, offering users quick access to various options via the side menu.
Personalizing the User Experience
Edie offers users the option to personalize their experience by selecting from multiple themes such as teal, red, indigo, and Blue. By clicking on the edit icon, users can access the introduction screen to add or edit personal information like mother's name, gender, date of birth, city, state, and zip code.
Uploading Profile Pictures and Resumes
Users can upload or change their profile picture by capturing a new image or selecting an existing one from their phone gallery. Edie also allows users to upload their textual resumes. By clicking on "Textual Resume," users can add a document from their storage. The uploaded file can be viewed, uploaded to the server, or removed from the device.
Creating a Video Resume
Edie provides the option to create a video resume. By clicking on "Video Resume," users can choose to Record a video or select an existing one. The maximum length for a video is two and a half minutes. Users can upload the video to the server, and the profile strength percentage on the dashboard will change accordingly.
Adding Education Qualification
In the qualification screen, users can add their educational qualifications. They can select the degree from a pre-entered list or enter their own degree. Users can also provide details such as the stream, university/college, percentage or CGPA, start and end dates, and a short description.
Adding Work Experience
Users can add their work experience by entering the company name, job title/designation, joining and resignation dates, job description, and information regarding references. This section allows users to showcase their professional experience.
Adding Certifications and Courses
If users have any certifications, they can add them to their profile. They need to provide details such as the certification name, certification authority, license number, start and end dates, and submit the information. Edie also allows users to add courses and the scores obtained.
Adding Project Details
The project section enables users to input details about their projects. Users can specify the project Type, name, client, their role, start and end dates, and the number of team members involved. This section allows users to highlight their project management skills and achievements.
Adding Honors and Awards
Users can provide details about any honors or awards they have received from companies or institutions. By entering the Relevant information, users can showcase their achievements and recognition in their respective fields.
Answering HR Questions
Edie offers a unique feature where users can reply to HR interview questions through short videos. By recording their replies, users can demonstrate their communication skills and express themselves effectively. The submitted videos are categorized under pending and replied tabs, allowing users to keep track of their responses.
Searching and Applying for Jobs
The Edie app provides a job search feature, allowing users to explore job opportunities. Users can browse a list of companies and their respective job openings. By clicking on a job opening, users can view the details and Apply for the position if it matches their qualifications and preferences.
Interview Process
Once a user applies for a job, the application is displayed in the "Flydoor Shortlisted" screen. The company is notified of the candidate's request, and if eligible, an interview is scheduled. Users can find the interview date and time through the app's notification system. Additionally, the app provides an option to request a reschedule if the given date and time are not suitable.
Video Conferencing
One of the major features of the Edie app is video conferencing. Users can participate in video interviews by accessing the video interview tab and clicking on the "Start Video Interview" option. This connects them to the company's interviewer, and the interview process commences. To end the interview, users can either press the disconnect button or use the back button.
Logging Out and Providing Feedback
When a user is finished using the Edie app, they can log out by selecting the logout option from the side menu. Edie values user feedback and provides a link for users to provide their feedback on their experience with the app.
