Welcome back to the Channel, everyone! In today's video, we have another exciting photo rescue project. We'll be working on an image from Italy that didn't turn out as nicely as we had hoped. But don't worry, we'll be using Photoshop and Luminar to enhance it and bring out its true potential. Image Cleanup

Before we begin enhancing the image, it's important to clean up any unwanted elements that may distract from the final result. Let's start by removing a few things that I'm not crazy about in this image.

First, there's a pipe going up through the middle of the frame that I find distracting. Using the spot healing brush in Photoshop, we can easily erase it. After a few adjustments, the pipe is gone, leaving a seamless background.

Next, we spot a piece of trash at the bottom of the image. With a simple brushstroke, we can quickly remove it and improve the overall cleanliness of the photo. Additionally, we discover a small detail—a horse or dog—that adds a touch of Charm to the scene. To enhance this detail, we'll use the clone stamp tool to patch a few areas and make it more prominent.

There's one more thing that's bothering me: a pipe sticking out from the side. But with the spot healing brush, we can swiftly eliminate it, making the composition more visually appealing. Lastly, I Notice that the image feels slightly off-center, so I'll straighten it using the rotation tool. With some minor adjustments, the photo is now ready to be enhanced in Luminar AI.

Enhancing the Image in Luminar AI

Now that our image is clean and well-composed, let's jump into Luminar AI to bring it to life. While there are various templates we could use, I prefer to go through each adjustment manually to achieve the desired look. Let's start by applying the "Enhance" setting, which adds a subtle pop to the image without compromising its natural feel.

Next, we'll adjust the structure to bring out more texture in the wall. By setting it to around 10, we strike a balance that adds depth without overwhelming the photo. Since there's some greenery in the scene, we can use the "Landscape" option to make the plants pop a bit more. After comparing the before and after, we're satisfied with the result.

To further enhance the composition, we'll add a vignette. By selecting the subject and adjusting the parameters, we can subtly darken the edges, drawing more attention to the central elements of the photo. Now, let's explore the "Dramatic" feature, which adds a touch of sharpness, contrast, and grit. By fine-tuning the saturation, we strike the perfect balance, ensuring the bike stands out without overpowering the overall look.

For a more antique feel, we'll experiment with different moods and settle on a cold color punch. However, we'll tone it down a bit to avoid an overly harsh change. Taking a step back, we admire the transformation we've achieved—a stunning, Stylized image with an antique charm.

But we're not done just yet. To add some finishing touches, we'll make minor adjustments to contrast, highlight balance, and shadows, ensuring the image retains its authentic feel while still standing out. Additionally, we'll use the dodge and burn tool to darken certain areas, further enhancing the overall composition.

To complete the look, we'll apply a texture overlay to give the photo a unique, vintage appearance. After selecting the right texture and adjusting the opacity and blending mode, we achieve the desired effect. With a few final tweaks, we're ready to save the preset and admire the before and after transformation.
