Introduction

Greetings, YouTube! It's agencygang again, back with another exciting video. Today's content is extra special because I had the incredible opportunity to make an early order for the Acronym SS21 collection. Thanks to the kind folks at Labels in Sittard, Netherlands, I received my package days before the official drop. Join me as I unbox and review these highly anticipated pieces.

Early Order on Acronym SS21 Draw

I recently had the luck of placing an early order for the Acronym SS21 collection. Labels in Sittard was kind enough to let me make the purchase on Friday, ensuring I received it on Monday, the official drop day. I've been eagerly awaiting this moment, staring at the box in anticipation all day while finishing my work. And now, without further ado, let's dive into this unboxing experience together.

Unboxing the Acronym Package

The package was expertly handled by Carl, and I want to extend my gratitude to both Carl and Labels for the exceptional service. As I open the box, I can feel the excitement building up. What lies inside are the pieces I've been longing for: the Acronym S24 DS A t-shirts in Alpha Green and Black. Let's first explore the black version.

Acronym S24 DS A - Black

As expected, the package includes a spec sheet, slightly wrinkled from its Journey. For those unfamiliar with Acronym, the S24 DS A is a t-shirt designed to be worn next to the skin. It is crafted from the renowned Shoulder Dry Skin fabric, which I've personally praised in previous videos. This fabric has quickly become one of my favorites due to its exceptional qualities.

Let me take the shirt out of its bag so we can examine the fabric together. Upon touch, the material feels a bit rougher compared to my Current P30 pants, which also sport Shoulder Dry Skin fabric. The P30 pants have a smoother texture in comparison. Nevertheless, the shirt boasts branding elements, such as the "ACR" logo on the back and the sleeve designation "ACRONYM S24 DS." This personalized touch sets it apart from other Acronym pieces I've encountered. It feels unique, and that's precisely why I chose this version.

The fit of the black S24 DS A shirt appears oversized and long. The interior fabric, like my P30s, offers a contrasting softness. The sides feature splits, with the front slightly longer than the back. The back also showcases paneling details, adding to the overall aesthetic. Now, let me try it on.

Acronym S24 DS A - Alpha Green

Moving on to the alpha green version of the S24 DS A shirt, I must say this is the first time I've laid eyes on Acronym's alpha green color in person. It gives off a chic vibe, reminiscent of ACG's stucco color. It leans towards a grayish-green shade, resembling a faded olive hue. Upon examination, the fabric exhibits stretchiness and a pleasant softness. It feels even softer than the black version, which is quite impressive.

Similar to the black shirt, the alpha green S24 DS A showcases Acronym branding, mesh material on the upper back for moisture-wicking, and a made-in-China label. The outside fabric appears rougher and tightly woven, while the inside fabric is softer and less tightly woven, prioritizing moisture-wicking properties. Its unique construction provides both abrasion resistance and moisture management.

In terms of sizing, the shirts feel quite loose-fitting, even oversized. As a 176cm (5'9") individual, a medium size suits me well in both the P30 pants and this S24 shirt. The fabric feels delightful against the skin, and I can already envision the coolness it will offer during the summer months. I recall wearing my P30 pants under the scorching sun and not feeling excessive heat, thanks to the Cold Black finishing. Although I'm uncertain if the shirts possess the same finishing, I am hopeful that they will offer a similar cooling effect.

In conclusion, I am quite satisfied with these Acronym S24 DS A shirts. The uniqueness of the fabric, coupled with the oversized fit and Attention to Detail, make them appealing additions to my wardrobe. The alpha green color requires some getting used to, but I believe it complements the overall look. What are your thoughts? Did you like these shirts? Are you planning to order them as well?
