Q&A on Twitch Subathon
Hey there, ladies and gentlemen! I'm back with a Q&A video, courtesy of a recent Subathon I did on Twitch. For those who missed it, a Subathon is a marathon livestream where viewers can gift subscriptions to keep the stream going. One of the goals during this Subathon was to have a Q&A session, and today I'm finally bringing it to you on YouTube.
1. Next Episode of Shoku Geekin no Lotus?
One of the questions comes from Martyr, who asks about the next episode of "Shoku Geekin no Lotus." Interestingly enough, during the Subathon, I did a cooking stream where we made chicken Katsu curry. It was a lot of fun, and we even have a clip of it on screen right now. As for the next episode, I don't have a specific date yet.
2. Help with Camera Settings
Yoku asks for help with camera settings. We both have a similar setup, but Yoku feels that the depth of field and lighting are not up to par. Personally, I use two Elgato key lights, which are positioned facing the wall. To avoid harsh lighting, I bounce the light off my PS5 and use one light on my left and one on my right. I don't stream in 4k since Twitch limits it to 1080p.
3. Kazuya Mishima
N wants to know if I can say "Kazuya Mishima" and finds it hilarious for some reason. Well, I don't know why it's so amusing, but I can definitely say it. Maybe it's just a weird fetish N has.
4. Other Hobbies Outside of Gaming
Moving on to other hobbies outside of gaming, I have a few. Photography and videography used to be big ones for me, especially before I started content creation fulltime. I enjoyed taking pictures and making videos. Basketball is also a big passion of mine. I've always been a Lakers fan, with Kobe Bryant being my all-time favorite player. In recent years, I've become more invested in the sport, constantly watching games, playing 2K, and listening to basketball podcasts.
5. Favorite Basketball Era
Speaking of basketball, Martyr wants to know my favorite basketball era. As a die-hard Lakers fan, I grew up watching and loving the Lakers, especially during the Kobe era. However, I have to admit that I'm more passionate about basketball now than ever before. I follow the sport closely, listen to podcasts, and watch videos on YouTube. Right now, I'm having the most fun watching basketball.
6. Buai 10 Kai4 and Analog Function for Clashes
Buai 10 Kai4 asks if I would like the "analog" function for clashes in fighting games. Although I'm not obsessed with Beam struggles, I wouldn't mind it if they added it for the nostalgia factor. It could be a fun addition for those who enjoy those moments in fighting games.
7. Alternative Career Path
Yoku wonders what career path I would have chosen if I hadn't become a content creator and streamer. Without a doubt, I would have been a photographer. It's something I was passionate about before I delved into content creation, and it still holds a special place in my heart.
8. Inspiration to Make Content Fulltime
Martyr asks about what inspired me to pursue content creation fulltime. The journey to fulltime content creation was a combination of factors. When I first got into streaming, I realized that if I was going to spend hours playing video games, I might as well stream it and make it productive. YouTube, on the other HAND, just seemed like a fun thing to do. I drew inspiration from other content Creators, such as Rhymestyle and AfroSenju. Making videos was a hobby that eventually turned into something more.
9. Improvements in the Last 12 Months
M wants to know what improvements I think I've made in the last 12 months and what I'm most proud of. Interestingly enough, the answer might seem insignificant to some, but it's a big deal to me. I've improved my sleeping habits. It may not seem like a huge accomplishment, given my late-night streams, but I used to struggle with insomnia and would only get a few hours of sleep each night. However, I managed to overcome that and now prioritize getting enough sleep, which has had a positive impact on my health.
10. Favorite Jordan Silhouette
Moving on, N wants to know my favorite Jordan silhouette. Without a doubt, it's the Air Jordan 1. I have a collection of Jordan 1s, and they hold a special place in my heart. They are classic and iconic.
Conclusion
That wraps up today's Q&A session from the Subathon. I hope you enjoyed getting a closer look at some of the questions and answers from the community. Remember, if you want to catch me live on Twitch, you can find the link in the description below. And as always, thank you for your support!
