Introduction

Welcome to my Channel! In today's video, I will be sharing three easy and budget-friendly patriotic DIY projects. If You're interested, I have linked my previous patriotic support videos in the description box below. So, let's dive right into today's projects!

DIY Number One: Red, White, and Blue Felt Wreath

For this project, you will need a nine-inch wreath form from Dollar Tree, red, white, and blue 9 by 12-inch sheets of felt, Waverly chocolate and plaster paint, folk art chalk paint, castle paintbrushes, wire garland from Hobby Lobby, scissors, a hot glue gun, and a paintbrush.

First, fold one of the felt sheets and use a three-inch embroidery hoop or any three-inch circle-Shaped object to Trace and Create circles. Cut out the circles and Continue cutting until you have enough red, white, and blue circles.

Next, fold the circles to create flower shapes. Apply hot glue to the center of a circle, fold it in half, apply more glue to the new center, and fold it over again. Repeat this step for all the circles.

Attach the flowers to the wreath form by applying hot glue to the form and pressing the flowers onto the glue. Alternate between the red and white flowers until you cover more than half of the wreath, then add the blue flowers to complete the wreath.

Paint a metal flower with Waverly chalk paint in plaster for a rustic look. Attach red, white, and blue wire garland to the back of the flower and wrap it randomly around the front. Secure the garland by wrapping the end around other wires on the back side. Attach the flower to the wreath using jute STRING.

Finally, add a jewelry hoop to the top of the wreath for hanging.

DIY Number Two: Patriotic Wall Picture

In this project, you will need a picture frame from Dollar Tree, the 1776 stencil, navy and white polka dot craft paper, Waverly chocolate and plaster paint, folk art chalk paint in Java, paintbrushes, popsicle sticks, white cotton cord, a glue stick, and a hot glue gun.

Start by removing the backing and Glass from the frame. Paint the frame with Waverly plaster paint and add a rustic look by dry brushing with Java paint.

Remove the picture from the frame and paint the cardboard circle white, then red, using Waverly and folk art paints. Glue popsicle sticks on the circle and paint them with folk art chalk paint in castle.

Create a stencil on the circle using the 1776 stencil and Waverly plaster paint. Attach white cotton cord around the edge of the circle using hot glue.

Create a backing for the picture using cardboard and navy and white polka dot craft paper. Glue the backing to the frame and attach the painted circle in the center.

DIY Number Three: Stars Ball Decor Piece

For this last project, you will need a wood piece, a star garland from Dollar Tree, burlap Fabric, wood stain, Waverly chalk paint in brown and plaster, folk art chalk paint in Tuscan red and nautical, paintbrushes, scissors, D-ring hangers, and a hot glue gun.

Start by staining the wood piece with wood stain. Once dry, dry brush Waverly plaster paint for a rustic effect.

Separate the stars from the garland and paint them with Waverly plaster, Tuscan red, and nautical paints. Add additional dry brushing with Waverly plaster and folk art castle paint.

Attach the stars vertically on the wood piece, starting with red, then white, then blue. Add frayed burlap strips on the top and bottom edges of the wood piece, and finish off with D-ring hangers on the back.
