The Story of the True Bride

Once upon a time, there was a world where stories held great power. People relied on stories to explain their past, understand their present, and even predict their future. The storyteller was revered, and everyone gathered around the fire to hear their tales. However, not all stories were pleasant, and at the bottom of the list of desirable companions were trolls.

Trolls were revolting creatures who couldn't even stand each other. In this story, there was a troll who had a daughter. However, she left home without a Second thought, leaving the troll alone. In her place, the troll found an orphan girl to serve him. But little did he know, this girl had a destiny beyond being a mere servant.

Anja, the orphan girl, had no parents and the troll became her only family. Despite his cruelty, she obeyed him, fearing the consequences of disobedience. The troll, however, despised obedience and would often contradict himself, using a heavy stick to enforce his contradictory rules. Anja had no choice but to endure the pain inflicted by the troll's stick.

One day, while Anja was plucking feathers, a lion appeared to help her. The lion had come from her thoughts, having heard her plea for pity. Anja was amazed and hesitant at first, but the lion convinced her to trust him and rest. Relieved, Anja finally fell into a peaceful sleep - a luxury she hadn't experienced under the troll's watchful eye.

When Anja woke up, she was greeted with a marvelous sight. The lion had magically drained a deep pond and completed a task the troll had set for her. This newfound magic gave Anja hope and courage. She felt a Sense of wonder and gratitude for the lion's help.

From that moment on, Anja's life took a remarkable turn. She discovered her ability to accomplish seemingly impossible tasks, like building a palace and attracting suitors. The palace became her sanctuary, her escape from the cruelty of the troll. Anja's beauty and kindness attracted numerous suitors, including a gardener who captured her heart.

As Anja's love for the gardener grew, she longed for his affection in return. However, their blissful union was disrupted when the troll's daughter, a foul and greedy creature, intervened. The daughter enchanted the gardener, erasing his memories of Anja and rendering him helpless under her Spell.

Heartbroken and determined, Anja devised a plan to win back her beloved. She sought the help of a man who revealed the trollop's true nature and her hold over the gardener. Anja knew she had to confront the trollop and break her spell.

Driven by her love for the gardener, Anja cunningly approached the trollop and made a deal. In exchange for the trollop's loveliness, Anja offered a night with the gardener. The trollop, consumed by her obsession with beauty, agreed to the deal without hesitation.

On the agreed-upon night, Anja went to meet the gardener, but he appeared to be deeply asleep. Unbeknownst to her, the trollop had given him a powerful sleeping herb. Anja's first gift, the ability to wake her true love, had gone to waste.

Undeterred, Anja used her second gift, an inexhaustible supply of gold coins, in hopes of winning back her beloved. Desperate to regain his Attention, she showered him with gold. However, the gardener remained oblivious to her presence and the true significance of her gifts.

Finally, with her last gift, Anja offered herself to the trollop in exchange for another night with the gardener. The trollop, consumed by greed, readily agreed. However, when Anja approached the sleeping gardener, she couldn't bring herself to follow through with the agreement. Instead, she kissed him, breaking the trollop's spell and awakening her beloved.

Filled with joy and relief, Anja and the gardener were able to escape the trollop's clutches. They ran back to their home, leaving the trollop behind to face her own demise. Together, Anja and the gardener lived a peaceful and happy life. They were blessed with children and told stories of the lion who had come alive from their thoughts and protected their family.

In this tale of love, perseverance, and the power of stories, the true bride triumphed over adversity and found her happily ever after.
