The History and Establishment of the Faculty of Exact Sciences
The Faculty of Exact Sciences (FSA) at the Universidad National Timor Lorosai was established in 2015. It was designed with the purpose of expanding the areas of study in Timor Leste and aligning them with the country's development goals. The faculty is one of the newest within the university and offers courses in mathematics, physics, and chemistry.

The Faculty of Exact Sciences offers three main courses of study: mathematics, physics, and chemistry. These courses aim to train students to be at the forefront of scientific research and to prepare them for future careers in scientific areas. The faculty is proud to be the only one in Timor Leste that offers these courses, making it a pioneer in the country's education system.

The first dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences was Professor Samuel Freitas, who served from 2015 to 2020. Currently, Master Romano Lopez is the dean of the faculty. The board of directors is responsible for the overall management and administration of the faculty. The faculty staff consists of qualified lecturers with scientific production and experience in research and teaching.
Infrastructure and Facilities
The Faculty of Exact Sciences is located in the compound of Infodep in Palliative Area. It has several classrooms equipped with teaching and learning facilities such as projectors, whiteboards, and desks for students. The faculty also has three main laboratories for chemistry, physics, and automation. Additionally, there are offices for the dean, administration, academic affairs, and teaching staff. The faculty's infrastructure provides a conducive environment for teaching and research activities.

In 2020, the first batch of students graduated, consisting of four students in the fields of chemistry and mathematics.
