Chatty Free Open Source Private AI Chat This release expands our support of popular models like Llama, Gemma, Mistral and Qwen to include support for DeepSeek R1 and a vision model (Phi-3.5-vision-instruct). As the project has matured, we've been staying up to date adding new versions like the Llama3.1 models and Qwen2 models. Thanks to the ~2,000+ users who have already been actively using Chatty. Chatty leverages WebGPU to run models client-side on your local hardware. This ensures your data never leaves your device and enables offline access once models are downloaded. In the future, more PWA support is planned. Key features of Chatty include: - Chat history - Markdown rendering & code highlighting - Asking models questions about uploaded files - Custom memory for personalized responses - Exporting chats as JSON or Markdown - Voice input - Response regeneration - Light & dark modes With Chatty, you get a user experience that prioritizes privacy – no server-side processing is required after a model is downloaded.
