I locked myself in a room for 10 hours and created a marketing strategy from scratch.
I created a marketing strategy for HeyEcho, a B2B SEO blog writing tool, in only 10 hours.
Armed with Google, Claude, and Notion, I set about planning everything that a bootstrapped SaaS tool needs to consider in their marketing strategy:
- Find the best target audience for their product.
- Position themselves against direct competitors
- Develop a “content library” of brand assets to reuse across all channels
- Create product philosophies – unique perspectives on their industry that explain the why behind all their features and benefits.
- Plan a marketing campaign for LinkedIn, Reddit, and HeyEcho’s blog that makes use of these product philosophies.
The goal was to show bootstrapped founders and indie hackers how much they can achieve if they sit down and ask the right questions about their product, audience, and industry.
