Michael is a highly accomplished sport performance & exercise scientist with over 2 decades of experience dedicated to enhancing human performance. Michael’s specific areas of expertise include breathing, movement, recovery science, nutrition, sports performance, training, biometrics and nervous system regulation. He has worked with renowned athletes such as Steph Curry, the US speed skaking team & muliple soccer stars.
In addition to being an Oxygen Advantage Master Instructor, Michael is armed with a Master of Science in Exercise Science and a stack of additional certifications. Michael also has his own human performance company called Flo2Plus and serves as the Head of Science and Performance for Alter, a revolutionary at-home fitness system that uses DNA and biometrics to curate personalized health, wellness, and fitness solutions.

How to Setup Alter Signal
1. Getting Started Activation: Hold the side button until the green light appears to activate pairing. Reset: If needed, hold the side button until the red light shines. Charging: Connect the device to the magnetic charging cable. The top light will blink while charging. 2. Connecting to the Alter App Pairing: Connect the Signal to the Alter app while it’s charging. Open the app, go to Signal Management, and follow the prompts. Syncing: Double-click the side button to manually sync with the app. Charge Fully Before Use: Make sure the device is fully charged before wearing. 3. Wearing the Device Placement: Wear it on your wrist or upper arm (with strap) or clipped near your chest (with the clip). Fit: Ensure the sensor (green LED) touches the skin for best results. 4. Care and Maintenance Cleaning: Use a dry cloth; avoid water as it is not waterproof. Avoid Damage: Keep it away from metals and avoid wearing it too tight. Charging Frequency: Charge every 4-6 days or when alerted by the app. Unplug the magnetic cable when not in use. 5. Safety Tips Avoid Water: Do not submerge; it is not waterproof. Skin Care: Remove for an hour after prolonged wear to prevent irritation. Magnet Caution: Keep the magnetic cable away from metal objects.
