Transform into Venom in 10 minutes with this new morph tool | Blender 3.6

Venom Morph System Download: https://graphicalninja.gumroad.com/l/zraaz A detailed tutorial of how to use my procedural geometry nodes based morph tool in Blender. It requires a little setup, but allows the system to work with animated characters as well as static ones. Marvel's Venom VFX are some of my favorite visual effects ever, and I wanted to make them myself. When I set off on this journey a year ago, I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I wouldn't be satisfied until I made a completely procedural, badass venom transformation. In this video, I'll break down how I created my symbiote morph effect and show some of the speed bumps I ran into along the way. I'll share a ton of geometry nodes tips and tricks, including uses for shortest path, nifty ways to use geometry proximity with helper objects, a lot of common vector math operations, the mix attribute node, meshing curves, manipulating curve radius, outputting attributes into the shader editor, and more. Also tips on animation and how to attach dynamic geometry nodes meshes to animated characters using mesh deform. The system does get unwieldy and complicated, and I encountered a ton of visual artifacts, including motion blur issues. Some of this was me still learning about geometry nodes, but some of it is that Blender hasn't fully grown into a robust VFX software. Doing a complicated effect like this with animated characters reveals some features that are needed to make the process less painful. *considers downloading Houdini This work is based on "Venom movie 3D Model with spider emblem" (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/venom-movie-3d-model-with-spider-emblem-b44f6afc879a4ed986941ad85edc5100) by herohunter pictures (https://sketchfab.com/herohunterpictures) licensed under CC-BY-4.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) Digi double generator app: https://in3d.io/ 00:00 How to use the morph tool 05:07 Attaching FX to animated characters (Mesh Deform)
